Anti-wrinkle injections, also known as Botox, Bocouture, or Azzalure injections, are a popular non-surgical treatment option for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These injections work by temporarily paralyzing the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles, allowing the skin to smooth out and create a more youthful appearance.
Areas we treat:
-Forehead ( Has to be treated together with Frown lines)*
-Masseter (for teeth grinding)
(Areas marked with (*) can be treated in the package deals or on their own, so you can mix and match areas)
Teeth grinding, or bruxism, is a condition where a person grinds or clenches their teeth, often unconsciously during sleep. This can cause tooth damage, jaw pain, headaches, and other problems. One treatment option for teeth grinding is the use of Botox, Bocouture, or Azzalure, which can help relax the muscles involved in clenching and grinding and can give the jawline a slimmer appearance.
Here's what you need to know about this treatment:
Procedure: During the treatment, a small amount of the solution is injected into specific facial muscles using a fine needle. This process usually takes around 30 minutes, and you can return to your regular activities immediately after. (Excluding: physical exercise and drinking alcohol for 24 hours)
Results: The effects of the treatment can take up to two weeks to fully appear, but once they do, you should experience a significant reduction in the appearance of wrinkles. The effects can last up to six months, at which point you may need to undergo another treatment session to maintain the results.
Side effects: The most common side effects of anti-wrinkle injections are temporary redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection site. In rare cases, more serious side effects such as muscle weakness or difficulty swallowing can occur.
Cost: The cost of the treatment will depend on the amount of solution needed and the practitioner performing the treatment. Prices can range from £199-£600 per treatment session.
